Puff Backs from burners, (also referred to as delayed ignition) occurs when oil is delivered to the combustion chamber, but is not immediately ignited.  When it finally ignites, an explosion in the firebox takes place, accompanied by a puff of smoke.  This smoke can radiate through your home.

We clean every inch of your home that is affected.  Not even a cup is left un-cleaned.  We begin the cleaning by using a special sponge and products. Every wall and item is thoroughly cleaned.  We even clean the light bulbs.  Last but not least we clean the furniture as well as the carpet.

The Do's and Don'ts

Do

•  Limit movement in the home to prevent soot particles frombeing impregnated into upholstery and carpet.
• Keep hands clean.  Soot on hands can impregnate upholstery, walls and woodwork, causing more damage.
• Cover carpeted traffic areas with towels or old linens to prevent more soiling.
• Discard all opened food packages.  The food is probably contaminated.

Don't                                                               

• Don't attempt to wash any papered or flat painted walls without consulting with your professiona; cleaner.  Incorrect cleaning could compound the soil residue problem.
• Do not attempt to clean carpet or upholstery furniture.  Again, incorrest experience and procedures could compound the problem.
• Do not use electrical appliances that have been close to the fire or water before having them checked.  They could malfunction.
• Do not use ceiling fixtures if ceiling is wet.  A short circut could result.
• Do not eat food that has been exposed to fire or smoke.
